Interfaith Network on Mental Illness- INMI

INMI is an organization that explores and educates at the intersection of mental health issues and faith communities. More than 50% of those experiencing mental health difficulties first turn to their faith communities and faith leaders. This is a juncture to pay attention to and nurture.

INMI regularly offers free conferences each year as a means to educate and offer resources. On May 12, 2015 a conference called Perturbed and Passionate Parents Speak Out:Cracks in the Mental Health System and How to Fix Them. Check out this link for all of the details.  It has been my experience that INMI conferences are heartfelt gatherings of community, relevant and provocative.

I encourage you to attend and to consider supporting INMI.
